Welcome to the sale of my lovely Mini Cooper S R53. I had to take it off for sale as I couldn't find the V5, but I now have a new one from the DVLA. Good bits: - Roof works without fault - Heated seats work very well - Harmon Kardon Speakers - A lot of maintenance work done as preventative measures, including: - Recent full service with spark plugs, filters, and oil - New heater matrix - Cooling system overhaul: fan, expansion tank, thermostat - Rocker cover gasket replaced to fix a leak - Offside mount and spring changed - Supercharger serviced - New water pump - Chain tensioner replaced - New discs and pads all round - New clutch - Kavs 15% supercharger pulley with reduced belt and upgraded intercooler Not so good bits: - Dent on the bonnet on the driver's side; I bought the car this way, and it hasn't affected driving. - Boot wiring needs sorting; I will try to fix this before the sale. - Steering sometimes makes a noise. I bought this car as I was going back into the office five days a week and needed a reliable vehicle to get into London. With work now shifting back to WFH, this car has become excess to my requirements. It starts on the button every time and does not miss a beat; it will be greatly missed. The car comes with 12 months MOT. One thing I've realised while looking at these cars is that there's no such thing as a cheap Mini, as all the cheaper ones will need the work done that I've already completed. Why not go for one with everything done? I did the work because I needed a car that would reliably get me to work and to the Lake District. Open to offers!
