Description

The car is in good condition for it's age, it's London ULEZ compliant with Porsche certificates and new catalycs, tons of history including Porsche up to 45 000 miles, thousands spent for servicing and keeping it on the road. Has two spare soft tops and loads of spares if you need them. *New water pump kit, new spark plugs, antifreeze - 10K miles ago *New alternator less than 500 miles ago *Freshly refurbished steering wheel *New battery and cabin filter *4 new tyres ~2000 miles ago *4 new disk rotors and pads ~ 2000 miles *20mm wheel spacers all around *Oil and filters ~ 2000 miles ( K&N washable air filter ) *New starter motor as spare Some suspension bits has been replaced as well like drop links etc Has Toyosports backbox and sounds incredible especially after 3500 rpm. However it has very slight exhaust rattle on idle only. No oil or coolant leaks whatsoever. Engine runs smoothly and with no unwanted noises and no smoke. Pulls like a train with smooth gear changes and perfect clutch. It's one of the first Boxsters equipped with 2.5l engine which didn't have the IMS problems as the 2.7 and 3.2. So no need to worry about this - the 2.5 is the bulletproof Boxster engine. Have investigated this thoroughly. The car has some minor negatives as well: *Roof mechanism is all complete, motors work off the button etc but it's in manual mode atm because it needs the rods adjusting. Been quoted 1 hour labour at Porsche specialist. Doesn't bother me as it takes 5 seconds to do it manually. *Radio needs sorting out. It has picture but can't get the speakers to work as they have been replaced by previous owner with es with loads of new radio plugs if you need them. *Seats go forward and back but the electric backrest don't work off the button. Could be a fuse but also never bothered me it's comfy as it is. Some scratches around the body, small crack on rear bumper. Alloy wheels have some laquer peeling. *Car is apparently cat C in some websites back in 2007 however I don't know why as it doesn't have anything that shows any sort of previous damage. No PX or silly offers please. If it doesn't sell I'd happily keep it. Has two spare soft tops - one is good and it has glass heated screen, which I preffered but never found time to do, the other top is for spares. Also loads of other spares if you need them + wind deflector and a car cover. Easily a grand in spares. Sold as seen / private sale. Thanks for reading all of this.
