Description
PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY:
A beautiful E93 with just 85k miles on the clock and full service history. Highly desirable interior/exterior colour combo with Sapphire Black exterior and Cream leather interior, 19" alloys, full widescreen iDrive Pro Nav. A head turner and a blower.
Please note: this car has unfortunately caught the common BMW bug - the dreaded oil leak.
As well as the oil leaking, which is a headache on its own, the constant dripping is causing the serpentine belt to slip off the pulley when driving. When it slips off the alternator stops charging the battery and other systems. I've replaced the belt twice (fairly cheap), but the slippery problem persists. The underlying oil leak is the main issue here, so this needs to be addressed as a priority. The full works will cost a fair amount to repair, so this is why the car has been priced accordingly.
The car does start up, but due to the issues above, i'd recommend towing it away or have a new belt fitted before it can be driven. This will not guarantee issue-free driving without fixing the oil leak.
Other Issues:
- Windscreen has a crack but doesn't penetrate through inside or outside (strange).
- Bodywork has some minor damage and scratches, common for its age. Rear bumper small dent, and scratch on drivers side rear quarter.
Sold strictly as a repair project. Once fixed, examples like this fetch well over 7000+
