Description
Autotrader apparently knows best and won't allow me to set a lower mileage than that displayed and so let's correct that from the start: The mileage has just ticked over 21,500 and may increase a little due to local journeys.
This was bought new by us in 2018 (one owner on the V5) and used for commuting for two years. During the pandemic my partner's job role shifted to being mainly remote and so for the last five years it's hardly done any mileage at all. The MOT history is clean with no advisories since its very first in 2022. The number plate is obscured because I've made that mistake before and suddenly started to receive speeding fines after some scroat cloned the plate of one of my previous cars.
The little Fiesta is in very good condition overall. I fitted four Michelin CrossClimate all season tyres in January 2023. Approx 5mm left on all four, the car has probably done about 5000 gentle miles since then.
The interior is in lovely condition and has been kept clean throughout ownership. The rear hatch has always had a boot liner in it and so the underlying carpet and backs of seats are in excellent clean order. Always a non-smoker and no pets. No stains, odours, etc. The seats are in great shape as you can see from the pics.
It has lived in our parking bay but unfortunately some of our neighbours have had some issues navigating around a car as huge as a Fiesta. As a result there are the usual 'London car' scuffs and marks on it. I have tried to highlight these in the photos but by far the worst mark is on the n/s rear by the door. It's not a huge dent and it never bothered us enough to get it repaired as we knew something similar would only happen immediately afterwards. There are also some stone chips, mainly on the bonnet and front bumper. Not that obvious from a distance and only really noticeable if you are up close or are looking for imperfections. There's also some light scuffing (but no denting) on the o/s rear door. I wish I could blame someone else for the wheel scuffs, but, unfortunately, they're all my own work.
I always like to be as honest as possible when selling a car so that neither a potential buyer nor I waste our time.
The last two services have been by our local Ford dealer and specialist in Twickenham, Mercury Motors. Look them up, they have a great reputation.
Independent inspection welcomed. Come take a look! No rush or need to sell and so not interested in low ball offers from traders looking to make a quick buck.
