This is my much-loved Jaguar S-Type R 4.2 V8 Supercharged, finished in metallic Slate grey with charcoal R-sport leather seats and beige headlining. I have owned it from new, purchasing it directly from the dealer (originally their demonstrator with 2,852 miles). It has now covered just over 85,000 miles and has been carefully maintained throughout its life. The car has had 14 services (initially by Jaguar main dealers and later by a trusted local independent garage) and comes with full MOT history traceable on the government website. It has 12 months MOT valid until September 2026. Supplied with two keys/fobs (one remote not working, but the key operates normally). It is mechanically excellent and drives beautifully, with smooth and powerful performance from the 4.2-litre supercharged V8. The bodywork is very good for its age, with just a small dent on the front passenger wheel arch and a few minor paint blemishes. Some underbody corrosion has been noted as an MOT advisory, and the driver's side sill was professionally strengthened previously to pass MOT. Inside, the R-sport leather seats remain in good condition with only light age-related wear, and the headliner cloth has been neatly secured with fabric studs. The factory 18-inch Montreal alloy wheels were recently refurbished and present very well with only a few minor kerb scuffs. Note: the fuel filler flap does not currently latch closed. The actuator can be heard operating but the locking pin is not engaging due to the tip of the rod having broken.
