One for a mechanic. Running without glow plugs connected. I was putting penetrating lube into glow plug wells for the garage to replace them and noticed one lead was attached but spinning (first snapped glow plug) fixed that with new Beru plug. Only to find other side had a snapped plug (collar is just spinning) this will need drilling out. Thank fully it is the front passenger side plug near the battery so is easiest one to get to. Must have been like this for a while as I have owned with little to no problems for 7 years. Somebody has kindly rounded off the DPF nuts as well! Bumper has been repaired/re sprayed and the filler has shrunk over last five years and bumper isn't quite sat right into clips (snapped when a van pulled across in front of me at roundabout) Front sensors haven't worked since! Some light rust spots on door sills and under bonnet. Some light scratches and stone chips all over. But other than that bloody great solid 4wd family tank. I get about 40mpg on motorway and 36 about town. Definitely worth more as scrap but would rather see it used as a car so will try to sell on here before scrapping it out for parts.
