2001 BMW 530i estate "E39", is a luxury station wagon powered by the M54 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder petrol engine. This has been a fantastic family car for us and definitely has loads of miles left. The engine is still in incredible nick and low mileage for the year car. Ideal for keen mechanic who fix some minor issues (details below) but is reflected in the price compared to similar models and age. Issues: Starter fuel pump- needs 2k revs to start but once in idle has no issues. Right steering rubbing. Rear window wipers missing. Front passenger and rear drivers side window not working. Rear right brake light (believe just the bulb but apparently BMW designed it to need to replace the whole housing (available replacement on scrap websites for not much). Some minor body work rusting (see photos) but generally very good.
