Well, this is looking pretty Ominous! This ultra low mileage (15,000miles) S550 has been recently acquired by us and is sure to get peoples pulses racing! The S550 Mustang has taken the Britain by storm since Ford decided to offer it to the UK market in Right Hand Drive form! (Often one of the main concerns for UK drivers is not being used to LHD cars on the left side of our roads). What drew us to purchase this example is its quintessentially American take on excess twinned with the modern trend for that ominous black on black “stealthy” look! In true American style, lets get excessive! Most people would think the standard 5.0L Coyote V8 engine producing 435bhp is more than enough, but this example has been fitted with the Roush 727R Supercharger kit in September 2022, jumping the pony count up to a whopping 727! Yes – 727bhp! Deletion of the rear exhaust resonator amplifies the burble sung by all eight cylinders to each symphonic crescendo before selecting the next cog! Further modifications include lowering the car on Ford Performance Eibach Springs and widening its stance with the Eibach Pro Spacer Kit keeping this high performance pony low and wide on the road and with a recent full tyre change it’s ready to really put the power down! Finishing touches include the more aggressive Maxton Design rear lip spoiler and subtle and contrasting Roush stickers that pop against the black paint hinting that this is no ordinary Mustang! Sure, shouty colours work on Muscle Cars, but uber cool black keeps things under the radar and lets the red badges do the talking! – Yup… this car means business!
