Owned since new! Bought from Gilders, Sheffield, and used as our family car since then. Many happy memories including trips to North Scotland and the South of France. Full service history. Lots spent over the last few years including top end engine rebuild and turbo. All paperwork kept. Very well looked after but is now starting to show some signs of ageing with small rust areas. New VW wheelset bought 18 months ago. Still plenty of tread on the Continental tyres. Original wheels will go with the car but could do with a refurb. VW roof bars supplied, tow bar fitted. Kenwood head unit. Original and unmodified car. Note the MOT advisories for this year have not yet been actioned. Serviced recently. Two areas of paintwork could ideally do with respraying. One on the nearside sliding door which was keyed and repaired years ago, and the other being the tailgate, where there was a minor low speed collision. Over the years the lacquer in these areas has deteriorated. There have been no collisions other than this. Overall an honest car which has served us really well and we will genuinely be sad to see it go due to all the memories! Sale due to children growing up and leaving home and being able to manage with an SUV with 7 seats for occasional use. Available from mid October due to timing of arrival of new car.
