Rust free UK spec RHD imported from Qatar Behr factory aircon No sunroof 78,000 miles, one previous owner Central locking, ABS, no Cat MOT to Sept 2026, recent MB dealer service I purchased this original car from its first owners who in 1991 had it shipped to them in Qatar, direct from the factory in Germany (UK spec + Behr air con). It spent its first 9 years in a very dry climate. They returned to UK in 1999 where it became their pampered second car, either garaged or driven on the clean streets of Manchester until I bought it in March 2025 after a 6 month search for an excellent car. It is very original and was recently described by the service department at Mercedes Benz Dorchester as the most rust free example they had seen. Other than Japanese imports this is probably the only one in UK without the (now troublesome) standard sunroof but with the highly desirable factory fitted Behr aircon. Most in UK have none but those that do had an Italian system fitted at the dealer. These are none too good, requiring dashboard removal to repair them (unlike this one which also sensibly uses the centre vent for cold air). The previous owner had the aircon serviced in 2024 with R134a gas which runs cold. This is a non catalyctic converter car. The 1.8 Manual is economical, 40MPG is achievable. It is very presentable inside and out with only a few marks to the interior and to the paint (none caused by rust!). The only known fault is that the original radio often requires its security code to be re-entered. With no sunroof and manual windows there is little to go wrong. The previous owner, having owned it from new, always had it serviced by either Mercedes main dealers or independents. I have used a main dealer. Now for sale again only as I have more cars than storage. Serviced 1,000 miles ago by Mercedes Benz Dorchester 15/5/25. They also MOT'd it to 6/9/26. Recent front exhaust.
