Here for sale is my beautiful 650i. Since I took over ownership of the car in 2020, it's had 4 oil and filter changes in my 12,000 miles, and I've attended to many of the known areas for concern that come with the BMW N62 engine: 1. ZF automatic gearbox has had the filter and fluid changed, followed by a subsequent fluid flush to make sure that the transmission fluid is fresh. 2. Coolant transfer tube (a dreaded known leak) has been replaced, along with the water pump, valley-pan gasket and thermostat. 3. The cam cover gaskets have been replaced, as well as the alternator bracket gasket. 4. Vanos seals have all been replaced, along with the gasket for the servo brakes. 5. PCV valves left and right have been replaced. All four 218-style alloys have been acid-dipped and refurbished at TRS Wheels in Milton Keynes, all 4 of the Falken Azenis tyres have a lot of tread left, and the stock exhaust rear boxes have been modified to allow you to hear the lovely V8 rumble! Both front wishbones and associated balljoints have been replaced as well, so there are no bumps or clonks over the dreaded UK potholes. Included in the sale is the Pure Highway 400 that allows DAB and Bluetooth music streaming, and the IDrive has been professionally rebuilt. Everything works, and the car is an absolute joy to drive. I have no concerns about the car passing yet another MOT, and could arrange for a fresh MOT if required. I've decided to sell my lovely car after 5 trouble-free years of motoring, because I simply don't need it any more following a job change, and I know that for the right new owner it will be as much of a joy for them as it has been for me.
