2001 Volkswagen golf estate 1.9tdi auto 178k miles. Start with the bad bit, speedometer doesn't work. Had the clocks disconnected, so I'm guessing this needs recalibration, need vagcom to do this. 12 months MOT, only advisory was the inner drive shaft boot. Car is on 178k miles and is previously categorised, it's the 1.9tdi ALH engine, not the PD engine, if you know these engines, they will live forever and are amazing on fuel. The auto gearbox is 4 speed, it's pretty sluggish in 3rd and 4th gear, but the car is only 90bhp, sometimes kicks down early, but that's the nature of it not being a modern dsg. Recent gearbox oil and filter change. Previous owner replaced the air con pump (and regassed it, nice and cold), Cambelt, water pump and thermostat. Next service is due in 700 miles. R32 front bumper, 2 new front wings, so no corrosion, custom projector headlights with twin indicators, custom TDI front grill badge. projektzwo side skirts. Comes with all the spare wheel well trims, and the boot load cover/parcel shelf 18" Audi S4 Avus wheels with 5x112 adapters, these have recently been powdercoated and have 4 new matching tyres on. New drilled and groves brakes fitted. Rarer Sunroof model, works in all modes. Just had a new 400cel sports cat fitted, 4" down turned exhaust tip on custom back box, and a induction kit. Stance plus Coilovers fitted, just fitted 4 new top mounts,and front top mount bushes. Car has been raised up about 2" from what I previously had it, new standard rear shocks fitted, rides much better, will come with the shortened stance plus ones in case you want to lower it more again (in last picture). Fully colour coded rear bumper, handles and mouldings. Rear Windows professionally tinted at Ultimate Tinting Cheshire, 15% so not overly dark, still see through them. Wind deflectors. Hatchback boot spoiler, fitment isn't perfect but looks decent enough. Rear tow hitch for bike rack only, bike rack will come with the car. Recaro style cloth sport seats. Perforated steering wheel cover. Bora dash vents. Bluetooth stereo. I think that's it, don't think I've missed anything off. The car is 24 years old, so has a few small chips and scrapes/paint defects, but nothing I would say is major. Snap on sticker on the boot hiding a small bit of corrosion. Only selling as I've just bought a newer more sensible car for a daily. Few spare parts will come with it too.
