28,750 GBP
Seal Grey Metallic
Full-service history (Main Dealer & Porsche Indy (Purely9)
Cruise Control
BBS OEM 19" sport design alloys with shadow chrome finish (these fit the arches a bit better than the standard 18" & it has 305mm tyres on the back, so it looks amazing from the rear).
Sports chrono (gives the throttle a more responsive feel & remaps the engine)
PASM switchable suspension
Upgraded IMS bearing
No bore score (photos can be provided)
Zenon headlamps (can be automated to come on at start up through the PCCM) - they do a sweep pattern on start-up, which is a nice party trick.
The seats backs are electric & they slide forward-backwards manually. I never move them.
Satellite Navigation
Electronic dipstick; bit Marmite, but I like it - checks every time you put the key in. This car does not burn oil though, I keep an eye on it between services, but it ' never' needs a top up, this engine has been cared for from the start. I never go over 3,000rpm until the engine oil is warm. I have the bore score photos to prove the cylinders are perfect.
New:
Clutch & IMS bearing
front and rear discs and pads
Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres
coolant pipes replaced
Brake vacuum pump replaced
both air condenser units
front suspension top mounts
bump stops
Engine mounts
Pulley wheels and V-Belts
Battery, earth strap & alternator
Bosch Wipers
It has an incredibly good MOT history, clear passes. Purely9 checked it over before sending it in. I had the brake pipes done straight after they appeared as an advisory last time.
I had it detailed to get rid of any skirl marks from previous washers & it's been waxed.
Everything works exactly as it should, I'm not aware of any issues with it.
4.8s = 0-60mph
182mph = Top Speed
325 bhp
Torque 273 Lb-ft
Weight 1394kg
The Sport button is the best thing; the throttle and pedal and much more responsive & the exhaust note is amazing. If you are interested in a 997, make sure it has the Sport Button. I turn off the PASM though which comes on automatically when you press the sport button as the suspension stiffness is exactly right, I do not need it firmer.
I have a folder of invoices, which I can share on the viewing.
- Never had any accident damage or any insurance claims, HPI clear
- Red brake callipers and 19" wheels are the reversible modifications
Bonus - Porsche 997 car tax; pre-March 2006 (like this one) is 415, while post-March 2006 is 735 per year.
