This is a fully forged and meticulously built Subaru Impreza WRX STI 2.5, running a semi-closed deck engine and a Syvecs S6 ECU. The engine was completely rebuilt at 51,000 miles in 2021 with no expense spared. It features a forged bottom end with a genuine Subaru hardened crankshaft, RCM/Arrow H-section con rods, and RCM/Omega low expansion pistons (99.50mm). Supporting components include ACL race rear thrust bearings, ACL big end bearings, and all new seals and gaskets throughout. The rebuild also included a 12mm oil pump, water pump, and an RCM oil pickup to ensure maximum reliability and oil flow under load. Fuel delivery and performance are handled by an RCM parallel fuel rail kit, RCM performance fuel regulator, and 1050cc injectors, all fed by a 360L fuel pump. The car is equipped with an SC46 billet turbo paired with a Funk turbo blanket, an RCM baffle plate, and a Perrin front mount intercooler with coolant overflow reservoir. A Perrin 3" turbo inlet and 4-bar MAP sensor ensure optimal airflow and tuning potential. Ignition is managed through NGK Iridium spark plugs, and cooling is taken care of by a Mishimoto alloy radiator. The Syvecs ECU works seamlessly with an RCM 3-port boost solenoid, RCM TGV delete, and RCM secondary air pump delete. It also benefits from an RCM extreme ARP 11mm head stud kit, RCM lightweight flywheel (5.3kg), and an Exedy "S-type" paddle clutch fitted at 49,700 miles, ensuring excellent power delivery and durability. The exhaust setup features GT Spec heat-wrapped headers, a ceramic-coated up-pipe, and a full 3-inch stainless steel decat system with a quad burnt tip back box, giving it an aggressive tone and excellent flow. The car also includes a quality blow-off valve setup to complement the turbo system. Suspension and handling are enhanced by BC Racing coilovers, with new front units fitted at 50,000 miles and the rears refreshed with new springs at the same time. The car sits on 10J 18-inch Rota Grid wheels wrapped in 245-section tyres, with rolled arches to accommodate the stance. Mud flaps have also been added for protection and style.
