VW Executive Caravelle 174 hp (higher powered) 7 seater in lovely condition throughout. We are the third owners and have owned it for 7 years. It has been the perfect vehicle for a large family, from baby to university! Reluctantly selling as our family is getting older. It has a six speed manual gear box with half leather and suede seats, heated front seats, privacy glass, upgraded stereo with reversing camera and removable tow hitch. Climate control in the back makes for comfortable long journeys for the whole family. It has upgraded Captain's seats in the second row with integrated booster seats and younger child seats. The seats slide and turn, the rear bench also slides and the rising table is great for journeys (playing games, sharing out food etc). The seats all incorporate useful storage space under them. The rear bench turns into a comfortable bed. If towing, you will find that the large side mirrors are akin to the type of mirrors that HGVs have (I drive HGVs) and are fine on their own for towing. We've carried canoes on the roof for hundreds of miles, and also taken bikes. It is lovely to travel in, and great fun for the children to face each other, as it makes throwing things and fighting that much easier! With seats facing in, you have lots of storage space between the front seats and the second row of seats. I made a carpet covered plywood shelf for the boot (see photo). This has given so much extra storage space when away on holiday or out for the day. It is easy to remove the captain's seats and slide the bench up, creating a van. This gives an incredible amount of space - useful for university trips etc. It is also possible to remove the bench, and have just the front seats. The alloy wheels are in very good condition and the tyres are also quite new. Servicing The Caravelle has full service history. We have been diligent carrying out servicing. VW only leave a certain number of pages for servicing in the service book, so I have just kept the invoices from subsequent services. We have had all necessary work carried out, and the Caravelle runs smoothly. MOT has a full 12 months. This would make a great vehicle for young or growing families due to the flexible seating; alternatively it would be ideal for someone wishing to have a camper van. It has blinds included and excellent lighting. It would be an easy conversion. Please feel free to ask any questions.
