Description
Freshly valeted, our CRV is now looking for another owner or family for more adventures.
Owned since March 2023 we've enjoyed trouble free fun with this car. Comfortable, spacious, easy to drive - it's well loved and cared for.
It had its 60k service this year and its MOT is due February 2026 and I would expect zero issues in passing. You can check its history on gov dot co dot uk.
Like all 10 year old cars it has some cosmetic issues and I've tried to take photos of them. These are limited mainly to scuffs and scratches. The front passenger side trim has a habit of not sitting flush.
Note - I'm only aware of 2 issues inside:
1. The auto wipers don't engage with rain. This is a bit annoying but I've lived with it. It may be easily fixed - I've never investigated it.
2. None of the USB sockets seem to do anything with my phone. Not sure if this is a phone thing or a car thing but I've never felt I've missed out on connecting. It has bluetooth which works flawlessly so you can listen to K-Pop Demonhunters on repeat for hours if you so wish.
We have a dog but she doesn't cast/shed so there is no trace of her anywhere, likewise we don't smoke so it smells good.
Seats have expected wear on them but nothing out of the ordinary and the driver seat is electrically operated. It's very comfortable and happy cruising along all day.
It's been driven with a light right foot - after all it's an SUV with a 2L automatic engine so don't be expecting a weekend at Knockhill. It's average 35mpg with a very mixed cycle of miles but it will achieve 41mpg when on the M6 down to Legoland.
It's honestly a terrific vehicle and we planned on keeping it until it reached end of life. We are selling it because I have a company car to replace it. We've had some amazing times as a family in it and I've always felt it's a safe vehicle to be in so driven it confidently and happily.
The tyres are Michelin Cross Climate SUV and are in good condition. They are very grippy so when you need (hardly ever) to use the hill descent control they work fantastically, likewise on snowy or icy roads you have a reasonably better chance of keeping moving and braking safely. It has an AWD feature that kicks in if it thinks it needs to but I can't say I've ever used it.
It's ULEZ friendly so you can drive it in the city centre.
