1999 BMW Alpina B3 3.2 cabriolet Very rare and special car owned by myself for the past 18 years. This car has covered only 108k miles and has never been crashed or welded and has always been garaged. It is largely standard but with the following recent upgrades/major work:- Engine: M3 high capacity sump with competition baffles, King big end bearing shells with ARP bolts, brand new oil pump, M3 oil cooler, high capacity water pump, brand new radiator and header tank, all new hoses, new condenser and brand new Denso compressor. Steering: New Z3 quick rack, track rods, steering shaft knuckes, M3 cross member, new power steering pump and lines. Suspension: Correct Alpina front struts rebuilt by Bilstein, M3 lower arms, M3 strut tops, adjustable rear Bilsteins, CSL lower control arms, M3 rear subframe with bonded body reinforcements. Brakes: Brand new Brembo E31 4 pot front callipers, genuine E46 M3 floating discs and hubs, HEL hoses, EVO servo and master cylinder, refurbished E87 2 pot rear callipers with F20 two piece drilled discs and HEL hoses (look fantastic). Transmission: Recent oil and filter replacement using genuine ZF parts, brand new prop shaft, brand new 3.45 LSD. Wheels: Correct Alpina softlines shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's. No curb damage, buckles or welds but some paint flaking so could do with tlc. 4 keys for the centre caps. Body: A few rust scabs but very superficial and have been there for many years, new hood, new headlining, comes with original colour matched hard top, many sets of keys, original Sytner number plates etc. Other: Standard interior with brand new auxiliary Alpina cluster, M3 instruments, Alpina mats, excellent stereo including original, electric aerial, all Alpina supplements, masses of receipts etc. This car has wanted for nothing and was recently used on the NC 500 covering 2000k miles in a week without missing a beat.
