I have owned this beautiful MGB for over five years but sadly due to my age (86) the time has come when it has to go as I can no longer do it justice. I do not have any older history but believe it was extensively refurbished in the late 1980's & since then it has been carefully looked after & used in it's current excellent condition. The underside is very solid with not a spot of rust & painted white (same as topsides) with no underseal thus making every part totally visible for inspection. It was recently fully serviced & tuned by MGB specialists Colne Classics & underwent a voluntary MOT check 2 weeks ago which it passed with no advisories. Mechanical power steering was fitted by MGOC in June 2020 as my (late) wife did not like the standard steering. It also has the rare benefit of a rear seat with belts plus a strong tow bar possibly very useful but never used by me. I also replaced the cylinder head with an Ivor Searle unleaded unit. Battery cut off switch & a handbrake digital lock both great for security. The car was professionally valued a couple of years ago at up to 20750 & has an agreed insurance figure of the same amount. A rear wind deflector makes open top driving that bit more comfortable & 'magic' gas struts for the alloy bonnet. Unfortunately I was unable to attach several photos of the underside but will be happy to send these to any genuine interested purchasers. I have pitched my sale price substantially lower than the valuation mainly to reflect the time of year & the general downturn in resale values. My daughter loves driving this classic & is not happy of my decision to let it go.
