This is a really charming 2.25 petrol Series 3 that retains its original pick up configuration with a canvas half tilt over the rear bed. The whole vehicle has a lovely patina developed over 45 years of use, giving a pleasingly original appearance but underpinned by a replacement galvanised chassis. It was in the same ownership from 1988 to 2023 when it was acquired by a family friend of the long term owner who had known the car well when he was growing up. The chassis had already been replaced at this point but clearly there was mechanical work required to get it back up to full working order and ready for more regular use. So in 2024 much work was undertaken and there are invoices for over 6k (images of invoices attached) from a well regarded Land Rover specialist. However, as is often the case, circumstances subsequently changed for the new owner and he was not using the truck as much as he thought he would. Since I have acquired it directly from him, I have carried out some further works to complete the refurb and get it running and driving nicely, so that the next owner can get on with enjoying using it from the outset. It is now classed as a Historic Vehicle so is exempt from MOT's and road tax is free.
