In 2022, The car received a Fully Forged Engine build by Spool Motorsport Subaru Specialist with no skimping & the engine has been built to a very high Specification. The build includes the following parts - Completely Rebuilt Block, Heat-treated rear thrust crankshaft, K1 H-beam connecting rods with ARP 2000 head studs, Cosworth Pistons, Cosworth Head Gaskets, 11mm oil pump and new water pump, Full engine seal kit, ACL race main bearings and big end bearings, Inlet AVS pulley, RCM thermostat, NGK spark plugs, Millers 10W60 oil. Additionally, a Competition Stage 2 clutch and lightened flywheel (worth 1,350) were installed. The full engine and clutch build cost nearly 10,000. The car was carefully run in for 1,000 miles and then custom remapped by Andy Forrest Performance (AFP) to produce 380 BHP, complete with pops and bang and the acceleration on boost is very aggressive.
