Description
An incredible example, a testament to previous ownership.
This Obsidian Black SL55 AMG benefits from an extensive service record and is in a condition so rarely seen in a car of its age. This is thanks in part due to that fact that it spent a big part of its life in the Costa del Sol where its maintenance schedule was strictly adhered to (many invoices attesting to this) and that until the beginning of 2025 it was still in the hands of it's original owner.
It was lucky enough to have enjoyed a 22-year love affair with it's first owner, then due to unfortunate circumstances it had a short second ownership and then after months of searching for an exceptional example I was lucky enough to have purchased this vehicle. If it wasn't for my circumstances changing at work it wouldn't be going anywhere. I'd safely stow it away in the garage and enjoy it whenever the opportunity presented itself.
This particular example is trimmed with the exclusive Anthracite leather interior package, as well as the beautiful Mercedes 'Designo' Alcantara headlining. All of this alongside an options list longer than your weekly food shop, including the rarely seen radar cruise control (distance based cruise control). With exception to the F1 Performance Package it has everything offered from Mercedes at the time - including but not limited to Heated & Ventilated front seats with massage function, a soft close boot mechanism and a glass sunroof neatly located in the fold down hardtop roof.
I'm not in a rush to sell it and quite frankly I wouldn't be sad to see it on my driveway this time next year. What I'm trying to say is that whilst I'm open to sensible offers I won't be giving it away. It's an exceptional example with an exceptional history. Jeremy Clarkson (whether you love him or hate him sold his Ferrari F355 to buy one of these when new).
