My period 928 has been restored and kept mechanically tip top in my ownership including cambelt, water pump, suspension, very recent engine overhaul at a renowned 928 specialist, services with documentation. I have MOT certificates dating back a number of years and have only chosen to register as a historic vehicle this year, making it tax and MOT exempt. I used this car as a daily driver and it has ALWAYS proved to be totally reliable. The car drives perfectly and the manual transmission is a joy. Before this original 1978 car, I had owned a 1987 auto S4 but the manual gearbox in this particular car provides the most engaging driving experience with a superb "classic 70's" v8 soundtrack. The body, wheels and interior have all undergone tasteful restoration ensuring the car retains its original colours and features. There isn't any rust on the body and the underside is clean. Originally started life in Sunny California, then taken to Germany in the 80s, for a few years then back to the USA, I have the original bill of sale, warranty proof of purchase, the originally issued owners handbook, plus have the Porsche classic toolkit, battery charger , a few brochures and original bills.
