This is a totally immaculate 2019/19 TCR that has covered just 27,400 miles and has had two owners in total. A very rare three door example finished in Deep Black Pearlescent, the production run on three door models was very limited so therefore very few were built and good original ones are now becoming collectible among marque enthusiasts and collectors alike. This example is further unique in that it has had a Akrapovic exhaust system retro fitted, at the time of order this was not an available option on the three door models and only introduced later in 2019. We were delighted to purchase this TCR directly from its most recent owner who has owned the car since early 2023. A full and up to date service history accompanies this TCR, with all services logged correctly on the digital platform. We have just performed the most recent service to this TCR, using genuine parts and again the digital service log updated correctly at our highly regarded marque specialist workshop, APS of Brackley. Also a point to note is the underside condition of this TCR is also very good indeed, an area often overlooked. Fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, this TCR wants for nothing and is ready to be enjoyed by its new owner. Now becoming more and more sought after, the GTI TCR was the run out for the hugely popular MK7 platform. The models name inspiration comes from the Volkswagen TCR (Touring Car Racing) race car, entered into the WTCR (World Touring Car Racing/Cup). Beyond the standard GTI and other MK7 variants the TCR receives some very smart bodywork revisions including the front bumper, rear diffuser, roof spoiler and subtle TCR badging. Engine power is also increased for the TCR to 286bhp through the front wheels and with its trick diff and highly capable chassis this results in a 0-60mph time of 5.6 seconds. Revisions to the interior including red striping distinguishes the TCR beyond the standard GTI. Overall the TCR offers a fitting tribute to the MK7 chassis, providing a hugely capable all-round car with stunning point to point capability coupled with day to day practicality.
