Description

I am open to offers. MoT failure. There's rust that needs welding, and parts that need replacing, and a drain hole is probably blocked because water gets into the passenger side footwell. It's been a couple of years since it tried to get an MoT but I do start it, using a jump battery, every couple of weeks, running it for half an hour and I sometimes drive it around in a small private area. Both rear sills have holes in requiring a body shop. All four front suspension arms are perished. A rear shock-absorber is leaking. The exhaust back box nuts are loose and it is leaking. The rear brake discs are corroded, and the pads are 70% worn. The driver's seat cushion is torn. Both seat belts are slow to retract. The brakes grind a little but that may be from the sitting. The warning lights in the dashboard for the ABS and stability I have found from past experience are from having a flat battery and, in the past, have gone away after a short drive. In addition to the sills, there is also some rust in the rear wheel arches, otherwise the body is in reasonably good condition. I don't believe there are any issues with the roof: no tears or leaks and it looks fine. The leather steering wheel and gear knob are worn. The tyres all have over 6mm in tread remaining. I have both keys. I am its second owner from 6 months old, and have had it serviced regularly at a Mazda dealership. I am terrible at documentation but have found the MoT and service bills from the last three years (that's 2020, 2021 and 2022). I believe a significant saving on repairs over the dealership prices could be made at an independent garage, or your own wrenching, and even more if you can do your own bodywork welding, but I am not that practical so here we are.
