I bought this car as something to keep for a good few years unfortunately it's a little too small for my needs. Not long after buying the car I found all the door locks were faulty (previous owners said it was just a bad key fob). Apparently it's a common fault on vw/Seat anyway I had 4 new genuine (not ebay!) Door mechanisms fitted and another key coded so everything works as it should along with 2 working key fobs one being brand new(also not Chinese ebay rubbish!). Car has 13 pin tow electrics which all work. In my ownership I have had the following replaced: Timing belt/waterpump & alternator pulley @126k 4 genuine door mechanisms January 2025 New coil spring, 2x rear shock absorbers, LH rear brake caliper and rear brakes replaced @128k 4 new tyres Oct 2024 The steering ignition lock failed randomly in April right when I had 3 week old babies! It was replaced by my local garage using a new part. Oil change December 2024 @127k Full service @115k I have receipts for most of the work including the cambelt change. Clutch and flywheel replaced during previous ownership but no receipt. It drives well and I was using it right up until I bought a bigger car, the mpg was really good usually 50mpg plus showing on dash, I really rate these engines hence the purchase and have spent a fortune on it as my original plan was to use it for a good few years, sadly it proved a little too small. Any inspection welcome but i have had to sorn it to save paying 2x car tax.
