Sadly my FSH and very low miles 2016 Nissan Note needs an engine (31600m engine supplied still in crate) according to the AA after breaking down suddenly last week driving back from Leeds. Serviced thoroughly at PDI and then at 1723, 6320, 10201, 17911, 21938, 30688, 43401 and lastly at 51000/52000 (although I forgot to get the service book stamped by Halfords because I put it somewhere 'safe' after the 43401 service). The VED is only GBP20 and if you can't easily average 65mpg then you must be a certain Mr Hamilton, Russell or Norris. A new clutch was also installed in November 2024 when that failed driving back from Alnwick and I had the car serviced at the same time which in total cost GBP 850. (have receipt) The Note was bought from Lookers as a non smoking no pets car with only 10201 miles on the clock with both keys (still looking for one key, that's in another 'safe' place ). I have now found the Nissan Service Book, plus the full handbook pack and wallet plus the V5C (just waiting on it back from DVLA after transferring my private plate) plus I also have the Nissan locking wheel nut and radio code. Despite having seat covers from 10k, the driver's seat bolster is worn, which I wasn't aware of until I took them off for pictures (could the seat bolster be repaired)? There are a few isolated marks and scratches from daily use and other careless drivers and please look at the wing picture which a truck scrapped kindly for me in June this year and left without leaving his details! It still is a non smokers and no pet car, but the engine will need replacing with the 31600 mile unit purchased and provided to future proof the Note for it's next 10 years. If you are one of those people who are handy with spanners (I am most definitely not hence FSH) then this would be a great first car. Very recent Michelin cross climate tyres on the front for upcoming winter cost GBP300 @ Halfords. Will need towing to be safe. No daft offers please, my car has been loved and cherished and very well looked after at great expense and I am taking a huge hit financially given purchase price and upkeep & maintenance as above.
