Seat Ibiza 1.2 TDI Estate Fantastic economical estate car. I've owned it for 3.5 years doing regular motorway runs (Cornwall to Manchester). Only selling as I've settled in the city and no longer need a long distance diesel. 60+ mpg, 20 road tax, 40L tank gets 500+ miles in summer. Cheap to insure and maintain - basically a VW Polo underneath. Recent work: 4 new tyres, new brake pads, new fuel injectors. No rust. Cold idle is a bit rough due to low compression on one cylinder, have had fixed by diesel specialist so it drives fine and smooth now, and when warm it doesn't happen. Doesn't affect performance. DPF del was badly done before I got it - had it professionally re-done + proper remap. Passes MOT with no issues, just needs a proper warm-up beforehand (I use Redex + a 20-min drive at 50-70mph before testing) Occasional warning lights from cheap sensors from previous owner, hasn't bothered me, but if full price is paid, I'll replace with proper OEM sensors before handover.
