For sale is my pride and joy; my Jaguar S-type SE. Finished in Indigo Blue Peal, sporting the desired 18" Trident alloy wheels, with immaculate cream leather and wood veneer interior. Don't be put off by the mileage; this is a very honest car. It has the optional entertainment system with touch screen, dual climate, heated seats and heated front screen, auto wipers and headlights. The car wants for nothing mechanically and is maintained regardless of cost. The tyres are OEM (J rated), Pirelli's. The fronts are brand new, the rears three years old and still in great shape. The spare has a brand new tyre too (albeit a budget brand). The last service in January included new plugs and gearbox service, which included a new oil pan and all filters (rarely done by others). Front shock absorbers were also replaced as one had failed. At this point, I also replaced the battery as it still had the original, which was getting a bit tired. In 2023/24, I had all front and rear suspension bushes replaced, including a full strip and rebuild or replacement of components, as well as new discs and pads all round. The V6 engine has a lovely, high-quality, reassuringly expensive sound, that can be enjoyed as you waft around in the comfort and quiet often reserved for cars ten times its value. It's really not that bad on fuel, either! The bodywork is all straight, could do with a mop and polish, as could the headlights. There are a couple of dings and scratches inline with age. The headliner is sagging, which doesn't notice when driving, so doesn't really bother me. If you check the MOT history you will note the low milage. This is due to the car having a replacement odometer at around 60K miles, carried out by Jaguar under warranty. As you'll see from the service record this has been recalculated since and kept accurate to date. I have stacks of service history dating back to the cars early years and the service book has all its stamps. Overall, this is an opportunity to buy a truly cherished Jag, that will be sadly missed.
