Fastidiously maintained by a fanatical BMW owner. Has had all problems associated with N53 engine changed at BMW using only original BMW parts. The list is completely extensive and the car wants for absolutely nothing at all. Below is what it has had done:
- All injectors replaced with newer index 11 design
- HPFP replaced
- Catalytic converter replaced
- Rear shock absorbers replaced
- Tracking rods replaced
- Rocker cover gasket replaced
- Oil sump gasket replaced
-Head unit replaced
- New battery
- Four new Bridgestone RFT in Jan 2025
All in all, more than GBP 15,000 of work has been done during my ownership. You might find a cheaper one out there but no where near as well looked after. These engines are renowned for doing 250k+ miles if well maintained and this one has been meticulously looked after. There is not another one like this on for sale. A true enthusiast's car. I am a mature and sensible driver, having bought the car as a BMW approved used in 2018. Mostly motorway mileage.
