I've owned this car for 10 years and it has been very well looked after. It's recently had a significant amount of maintenance done (much of it preventative), fitting only brand new, high quality parts. This should give peace of mind to the next owner. Recent work (within the last month): - Fuel injectors replaced (Magnetti Marelli). - Ports and intake manifold cleaned. - Cracked port partitions replaced - known issue (genuine VAG). - High pressure fuel pump and cam plunger replaced (Hitachi). - Rocker cover gasket, inlet manifold gasket, and throttle body seals replaced (Elring). - Air filter box mounts replaced (Febi Bilstein). - Oil changed (VAG longlife 504.00/507.00 standard). - Oil, fuel, air, and pollen filters replaced(Mann). - Spark plugs replaced (NGK Laser Platinum). - Engine block breather valve and hoses replaced (Febi Bilstein). - Vacuum pump seals and vacuum hose replaced (mrOring). - Vacuum hose replaced (Engitech). - Cabin air quality sensor replaced (Hella). - Air conditioning pressure switch replaced (Mahle). - Bonnet and tailgate struts replaced (Stabilus). - Headlights and tail lights restored. - Old bulbs replaced (Osram). The interior is a lovely half leather / half Alcantara and is in great condition. Alloy wheels are in excellent condition too, with no kerb marks. Tyres are all Uniroyal Rainsport 5s and have plenty of tread remaining. Original spare wheel, scissor jack and locking wheel nuts are included as well as the original manuals and sevice book. The car drives very well and is an enjoyable, practical performance hatchback with the benefit of a well-documented service history and resolved common issues.
