Description
Original owner from new. Has been our run about for 10yrs.
This is 105bhp engine, which drives with plenty of oomph for the weight of car. Also has slightly stuffer suspension and responsive brakes than the non SEL version of polo. I did drive a basic version of same year polo and noticed it was quite wallowy compared to this spec. Worth knowing.
As well as the above, we specified the upgraded paint (forget the name) and car app connect which gets you android auto and carplay via a usb cable.
Granted I've not used carplay at all, but as android auto works I can imagine it's fine. Welcome to test this when viewing.
We also specified "city braking" which includes adaptive cruise. Prevents a front end crash at or below 20mph apparently. I've not got the courage to try it though. It's kicked in a couple of times so I know it's working.
Car has a bit of a dink on rear bumper and some stone chips on bonnet. Typical for age of car. All marks are marked up with red arrows. Anything I've missed will be very difficult to spot.
There are a couple of tiny chips in the windscreen also, but have been repaired at same time circa 6-7 years ago. They happened within a month of one another!
Car drives and stops just fine. Has a little bit of suspension squeak but have had two garages say no fault found. I'll show you how to replicate the noise if interested.
Full independent service history.
Two original keys
Original paperwork from new.
Full size spare in the boot floor with original toolkit
Car regularly delivers 50mpg if you have a nice mix of motorway and city driving. 20 quid tax is very nice too.
Selling because I'm driving more for work and going for something a bit bigger.
Will slowly increase in mileage as is still being used to commute.
Any Q's let me know
