Regretfully selling my P38A Range Rover. I believe this to be a very rare example of a P38, and I looked for a while to find one with the specification. This is a super low specification P38 with no optional extras, which is exactly what I was after. In theory this is the most reliable P38 possible. It is a diesel manual non-sunroof model. Being a P38A it is factory non-EGR and aluminium inlet. It has the rare cloth interior and the slim bumpers, boasting no fog lights or lower lip kit. It has no cruise control, no heated seats and no unnecessary electronics, this is a stripped back basic P38. I wanted one with as little in it to go wrong as possible. This comes with the benefit of super rare parts, such as the factory slim bumpers and steering wheel with no buttons, and no wet carpets. Condition wise the truck is very clean and totally original having no modifications other than the tuning box for the engine, lifting power to around 175bhp. The interior looks as new condition and has not even any wear and tear. Outside there is the usual marks and light areas of oxidisation in places, however for a 30 year old land rover I would say the bodywork is very tidy. Underneath, the chassis is totally solid and has never been welded, nor does it need any welding. There are areas that could benefit from a cosmetic tidy up, just to make it look perfect. Car runs and drives absolutely lovely, engine is sweet and clutch gearbox are nice. The car is still on the original fully functioning air suspension. The car had a major service at around 84k miles (although no proof), and had brand new brakes all round. No lights on the dash. As with most land rovers there are a few small oil leaks but nothing crazy, and a few areas that just want tidying up. Overall this is a tidy example of a rare specification P38A. MOT until April. Mileage will increase as still in use.
