Description
I purchased this 1 owner from new MPS in September 2020 (around 49,000 miles) primarily as the family car.
It's only ever really been used for day trips out at the weekend and now that we have another car I can't justify keeping this one considering it would be used even less.
It's had a few upgrades in my five years of ownership:
-M-Tech discs and Stoptech pads all round
-Hard Race drop links front and rear
-EMP Performance custom cat back exhaust which is not too loud but gives a much better burble over the muted standard one. No droning and unobtrusive at motorway speeds.
-Superchips remap approx 30-40bhp over standard
-K&N air filter
-MaxSpeedingRods coilovers. The original dampers were leaking and rear was knocking so this seemed like an affordable upgrade.
I've had better to be honest and you do get what you pay for. For the bumpy local roads these can make for an unsettling ride for rear passengers. Fortunately, as the car is only used for day trips out of town it wasn't too much of an issue for us. On the motorway the car is smooth and composed and for back road driving it gives good feedback and responds better at speed rather than pootling along in town traffic for example.
From the previous owner there are a couple of scuffs either side of the front bumper though thankfully not too noticeable along with a long scuff the length of the drivers side skirt.
Shown in photos.
Tyres (Bridgestone Potenza) are only about 3 years old but due to lack of regular use they are showing signs of cracking around the outer most edge and as such will be an advisory
Tyre Pressure Sensor light is on and has been for a number of years (not an MOT failure due to age of car). I had a faulty one replaced when the tyres were done but the light came back on again at some point. Had all four sensors replaced with new old stock but local garage was unsuccessful in getting them to work
