Description
Selling our 2017 Mercedes-Benz A-Class AMG Line Automatic Diesel - a stylish, economical, and modern hatchback that's been well looked after and is ready for immediate collection from Kettering. It's cheap to tax and insure, making it perfect for anyone wanting a premium Mercedes hatchback without paying an arm and a leg. The seats are really sporty with a ribbed design that's very comfortable, and the front section can be extended for extra leg support on longer drives. It's a great-looking car, but unfortunately, it's too small for us now and we need something bigger - otherwise, we'd definitely be keeping it.
It comes with full service history, plenty of receipts over the years, and has had just three former keepers. I've checked with Mercedes and the cambelt isn't due until 2027. The MOT is valid until 26 July 2026, and all previous advisories have been completed. The front brake discs have around 15,000 miles of life left, confirmed in a recent health check carried out by ProTyre in Kettering, which I can show to the new owner. The TPMS light was previously caused by the nearside rear tyre, which has since been replaced with a brand new one. The rear wiper blade has also been replaced, and a minor oil leak noted earlier was traced to a sump nut washer, which has been replaced and fully resolved. A new battery was fitted on 24/04/2024, and the car had a full service on 29/04/2025 at 80,374 miles, with the glow plugs replaced on 17/06/2025. The air conditioning was re-gassed on 24/09/2025, and it's had a full professional valet, so everything feels fresh, clean, and ready to go.
Being the AMG Line spec, it comes with that premium sporty feel, including microfibre sport seats with red stitching, the AMG flat-bottom steering wheel, AMG mats, and selectable Comfort, Eco, and Sport driving modes. The tech is impressive too, with Apple CarPlay, a reverse camera, USB charging, electric windows and mirrors, ISOFIX child seat points, and a good-sized boot with an inflator included.
To be completely transparent, the alloys could do with a refurb, but that's purely cosmetic. It was also recorded as Cat S in 2019 and was professionally repaired to a very high standard. It drives perfectly with no issues, and the price fairly reflects its history compared to other examples on the market.
No time wasters or silly offers please - it's priced to sell. First to see will buy. Please make sure you have valid insurance if you'd like to test drive it.
