Description
BMW E66 760Li V12 - Rare Alpine White (Japanese Import)
Believed to be the only Alpine White 760Li in the UK, as this colour was never offered for the UK market. Imported from Japan, which also means it benefits from the lower road tax bracket.
It's in excellent condition throughout and has covered just 68,000 miles (shown in km on the dash and MOT). There's a mileage discrepancy in the MOT history because a tester a few ago didn't realise it was in km, but the true mileage is correct and consistent.
Just passed 12 months MOT after having all 12 injectors professionally tested, cleaned, and serviced to fix a misfire from sitting unused. It now runs beautifully smooth, powerful, and every bit the V12 experience you'd hope for.
I've owned the car for 6-7 years, but barely use it these days as I have a work car. It's always been regularly serviced and maintained, with plenty spent over the years, including:
Gearbox service
All injectors serviced
New fuel filter
New water pump
K&N panel filters
Always serviced with Castrol Edge 5w30 + Bosch oil filter
Upgraded M5/M6 brake calipers and discs (the Japanese 760i's had smaller brakes)
EBC Redstuff pads
3SDM 0.04 20" wheels
Bridgestone Potenza Sport staggered tyres (approx 7mm tread)
Painted intake manifold
Stage 1 remap
155mph limiter removed
Bimmerfix stent fitted to fix the common coolant crossover leak
Also included with the sale:
English voice module (currently voice activation is only japanese)
Updated ASK/MMI units to allow aux input/android head unit (currently has Dension Gateway 500 that allows aux)
New Bosch wiper blades
Private V12 TXB number plate
Has almost every factory option (only missing ventilated seats and night vision camera), including:
Electric sunroof, alcantara headliner, electric handbrake, electric rear blinds (side and rear), soft-close doors, double glazing, active/massage comfort seats front and rear, heated front and rear seats, rear TV, front and rear phone, fridge, Logic7 sound, adaptive cruise, adaptive drive, xenons, keyless entry/start, automatic boot, rain sensors, and more.
Common V12 issues have been checked HPFP diaphragms haven't been replaced, but show no symptoms and the car's been regularly started to prevent them from drying out.
One of the auto dip wingmirrors (electrochromic) has started to fail, just needs the glass replaced.
As with every BMW of this age, one of the AUC (cabin air quality sensor) has failed and therefore shows a fault code if scanned.
