Description

This is a beautiful 1999Ferrari 456M GTA RHD finished in Nero Daytona over a Grey leather interior. This lovely example has covered a mere 46k Miles from new, has had over 23k spent on it in the last 3 years and comes fresh from a cambelt service and ready to go! As denoted by the 'M' model-name suffix, this is a 'Modificata' facelifted 456, which features fog lights in the front grille as well as a carbon-fibre bonnet, which was the first commercial automotive application of carbon-fibre. It also features the reprofiled dashboard with circular vents, redesigned seats, and a new stereo.Under the engine lid is a 5. 5-litre naturally aspirated V12, delivering 436bhp to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. This is a handsomely finished example of Ferrari's elegant grand tourer, boasting an extensive specification and powered by a sonorous V12 engine. With only 139 right-hand drive examples built, the 456M GTA is a very rare model. The recent work began in October, 2022, when the rear shock absorbers were rebuilt, among other jobs. In July, 2023, the Ferrari was presented for paint refurbishment around the bumpers, sills, mirrors and door handles, and around the same time Mobi Valeting Detailing was responsible for cleaning the interior and undertaking leather repairs. The more recent work was entrusted to Retroclassic Engineering, starting in May, 2024, with a general service including the renewal of the sparking plugs, cam belts, cam belt tensioners and springs, the air, oil and fuel filters, plus various gaskets. The air-conditioning was regassed, the valve clearances checked and the cam timing adjusted. Various electrical repairs took effect in December, 2024, and February, 2025, which involved partially rewiring the injector loom, replacing the gearbox solenoid and installing a new battery. Additional recent work has included reconditioning of the gearbox and cooling system, exhaust repairs and replacement of the water pump and torque converter. With over 23k recently spent this example provides a surprisingly attainable entry point into Ferrari ownership, and is ready to be put into use as a comfortable daily driver or weekend cruiser.
