Oakmere are delighted to offer this superb 1971 Lotus Elan Sprint for sale from our Northwich, Cheshire showroom. A genuine DHC manufactured in September 1971 and supplied new by Hammonds Oakwood Ltd - 78th from last of the Carnival Red over Cirrus White Sprint DHC's. A very well-restored Elan featuring a huge history file dating back to 1978, detailing work carried out, including an Engine rebuild, body and restoration, along with service and parts invoices from all the major players in the Lotus scene. The body and chassis restoration was carried out in 2019 by EBBS Classic whilst during the same period, a full engine rebuild was undertaken at Craig Beck Racing, including new pistons, cams and Twin Weber 40DCOE carbs. A beautiful example which comes complete with original Elan4 Sprint owners handbook and the all important Lotus Classic Certificate Of Vehicle Provenance.
