With a heavy heart, I am reluctantly listing Alfie the Alfa for sale. My first and only car, Alfie has been my loyal companion for 8 years, and he had only two previous owners before that. Alfie's MOT is due to expire 12th Dec and on retesting for a new one, he has unfortunately failed on a few areas which will cost in the region of 700 to sort. Due to changes in work and upcoming travelling, I don't really need a car and therefore cannot justify the spend but I am hoping to find someone with a need for this trusty steed who I can pass him over to. Auto trader have recommended a sale price of 1700 so I have accounted for the cost of required work and then some in the price I am listing Alfie for to encourage a quick sale. Alfie has been annually serviced and well looked after including a new clutch in 2022 and 2 new tyres only last year. All receipts and service history have been retained since I got him in 2017 and he comes with part service history for the years before that. Also comes with two keys (though they only work as manuals). He does have some cosmetic scratches over one back wheel arch, got sunburnt and is peeling a little on the bonnet and relies on windows for AC at the moment - I just haven't paid to diagnose and fix it - but he is an old boy now and is in good shape for his age. He's in a very low insurance group, costs next to nothing in road tax (20 pounds annually) and very economical (around 60mpg), overall he is a great car and I will be sad to let go of him.
