Description
For sale is my 2013 Ford Focus ST-3 petrol. The car has MOT until May 2026, comes with V5 logbook and two keys. I am only the second owner. The car also benefits from a fully stamped service book with twelve services - ten are Ford main dealer, one is an independent garage and one is a self service carried out by myself earlier this year with spark plugs, all genuine filters, engine oil, gear oil and brake fluid replaced. I also had the air conditioning re-gassed which is now ice cold. Mileage is on 160,000 miles.
Mechanically the car is great, the car benefits from four very good matching Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres and I have replaced the discs, pads and dust shields all round so the brakes will last for tens of thousands of miles. I have also replaced other items such as rear suspension arms and drop links, the car was then four wheel aligned to make sure the geometry was perfect. Upon initial inspection, I realised that the main engine mount needed replacing which is common on these Focus models, so I replaced all three mounts (engine, gearbox and rear torque mount). There is a warning on the dash for a headlight malfunction, but the headlights work fine and the code relates to a rear height sensor for the xenon headlights.
In terms of interior, the car benefits from the amazing Recaro ST-3 seats which are heated, electric full leathers and they are in outstanding condition with almost no wear present at all. This car benefits from cruise control, which appears to be an extremely rare option on these cars - it's not even standard equipment on an ST-3! There is one small crack in the plastic surround by the handbrake lever that is barely noticeable and there is minor wear to the right side of the steering wheel, again barely noticeable.
The exterior cleans up ok, but I was told that prior to my ownership the car was used as a motorway vehicle and therefore the front end is stone chipped, this would make sense as the mileage is now on 160,000 miles. I have tried to include some pictures which show the condition of the bodywork. The alloy wheels are ok, but would benefit from a refurb if you wanted them perfect. I have replaced the wheel centre caps for brand new genuine Ford items in an attempt to lift the appearance and have also fitted a brand new genuine 'ST' front bumper badge, which was missing. Overall the car still presents well and turns heads.
