Description

Selling my 2005 Audi TT 1.8T in Mauritius Blue. It's been a brilliant, reliable car and I've just moved to something more practical, so this one is ready for a new owner. It's in clean, honest condition throughout and drives far better than most at this age. Fresh MOT. Timing belt + water pump - done less than a year ago. Gearbox oil changed at the same time. Front suspension overhaul very recently completed ( control arms/bushes/links etc.) As a result, it drives extremely tightly with no knocks, vagueness, or wandering. A very solid example. Solid underneath. Sills and arches rust free. I went down to Lincoln to get this to minimise the corrosion risk This is the late version 190bhp 1.8 Turbo - smooth, quick, boosts properly. Plenty quick, lighter than the quattro and less to go wrong with no haldex. Mileage: ~ 141k Fresh MOT Completely standard, no modifications. I'm going to refit the rear Audi rings. I tried it but I'm not keen on the fully debadged look. Gearbox good plus solid clutch, no slipping at all. Bodywork is tidy for its age, with the Mauritius Blue still presenting well. Panels are straight and the car still looks sharp. Interior is clean with minimal wear for age. Mechanically it's excellent and has never let me down. Always starts first time, pulls cleanly, and benefits from all the recent preventative maintenance. Just the usual light marks from age nothing major. I've bought a more sensible car for work and family life. Otherwise, I'd happily keep this as it's been spot-on. Surprisingly big boot. Paperwork & Keys: V5 present plus folder of receipts (including the recent major work) and plenty of service history. 2 keys. I've recently given it a service - oil and filters so it's ready to go. Not many of these left on the road now, especially not in nice condition. Definitely a potential future classic :)
