1989 Mini Thirty G222 BPD Original Mini, satin black in colour. This was my daughters first car which we have had extensively restored over the last 10 years to current specification including:- Fully rebuilt fast road spec engine & gearbox by The Mini Works completed in 2023. This was a total strip & rebuild (even having the block acid dipped) using all new parts throughout - estimated 95-100bhp with very useable torque & power. This Mini has no issues keeping up with modern traffic & will cruise at motorway speeds comfortably. Fully re-carpeted, full new bespoke dash (including wiring) & Momo steering wheel, stainless full exhaust system (fairly loud), fully rebuilt suspension (with HI-LO's) - again by The Mini Works, 6 x 12" Starmag wheels with modern tyres, updated brakes including front callipers. Modern bulbs throughout including headlights. New floor sections, sills & front wings as well as bonnet, car was professionally resprayed in satin black with roof in BMW Technoviolet. Detailed invoices available for all mechanical works amounting to well over 15k (not including interior, paint, wheels etc). Extensive 'spares' package to go with this - original Thirty alloy wheels, steering wheel & indicator lenses, various filters (oil, fuel). Modern audio including upgraded speakers, phone charger etc. This is far from a perfect 'as new' resto-mod, but it is also not 60 - 100k, it is a hugely fun, dependable & useable classic Mini that needs a good home & someone who will continue to adore & look after it as much as we have. It will need ongoing maintenance & care to keep this good but the rewards are something really special.
