Description
Full service history, Berlina Black S2000 with original hardtop and tonneau cover.
I have owned this car nearly 3 years and have absolutely loved my time with it. The S2000 was a dream car of mine and I imagine it will be something I may come to regret letting go of in the future. However, the reason for my sale is due to the fact that I simply do not have time to drive it anymore. During my ownership it has mostly been used to drive to North Wales to see family, which means it has mosly done motorway miles under my ownership. This of course is not what I intended to buy it for.
Nevertheless, when I have had opportunities to drive it for fun, it has been absolutely phenominal. Mechanically the car is exactly what you would wish for and I have no way of faulting it. I have always kept it topped up with oil, I have never taken it into vtec without letting the engine warm up first and I have treated it with great care under my ownership.
The car comes totally stock aside from two items. The first item is the Backyard Special seat rail. It lowers the drivers seating position by one inch which truly improves the view for the driver. This was purchased from Nengun and also shipped from Japan at an overall cost of 275.70 pounds. I also have the original seat rail which can be reattached to the seat as this mod is fully reversible.
I also purchased a cup holder from modifry. This was shipped from the US at a total cost of 61.69 pounds. Again, this is a small modification that can be removed without any issue back to orignal as it bolts into the netting on the passaenger side footwell.
Finally, I want to highlight the two small tears in the soft top. These were both present when I originally purchased the car but were not pictured in the advertisement. I do not want to do this to the next owner of this car which is why I am being honest here with their inclusion. I have used waterproof soft top glue and tape which has allowed me to continue using the soft top with no issues at all. In all my time with the car these have never let water through or increased in size.
My S2000 is a fantastic car and whoever has it next will be getting themselves into a modern classic. I don't doubt that this car will only become more desirable as the years go on.
