The car was then garaged and off the road for the next 25 years, there is picture evidence supplied in the history file of the first owner, Mr James M Allan, standing next to his car in the 1980s and then again when it resurfaced from its 25-year slumber in the garage. The car was then purchased by Michael Harris in 2006 and the car was reportedly rust-free and only needed the obvious recommissioning jobs.
