The Changan Deepal S07 is a mid-size all-electric SUV from Changan’s EV sub-brand, Deepal. It’s designed in Italy and engineered in the UK BY BRITISH TECHNICIAN'S. Under the skin, it packs a 160 kW (? 215 bhp) rear-mounted motor delivering 320 Nm of torque, making it rear-wheel drive. The S07’s 80 kWh battery gives it a WLTP range of up to 295 miles, though its DC fast-charging peak is modest (? 93 kW) — 10–80% takes around 48 minutes. Inside, it’s tech-forward: there’s a 15.6-inch rotating “Sunflower” touchscreen, a 360° camera system, and an augmented-reality head-up display.
