Description
I have personally owned this car for over 8 years and has been maintained to a very high standard. For the last 18 months the car was used in Norway where I was living and working and stood the test of the artic winter taking it in its stride. The sale is as genuine as is the car for 11 years old. There are obviously age related marks so please don't expect an 120,000 range rover condition. I would say that its in great condition and with the top of the range Autobiography spec, heated, cooling massage seats, panoramic sunroof, the stereo upgrade alone when new was over 3 thousand, it genuinely in great condition, someone with an eye for the detail and a good polishing kit could have this in showroom condition in a jiffy. The car had its major 10 year (or 80,000 mile) service in September 2024, timing belt kit, water pump, injection pump, filters and fluids and batteries changed. JlR service history is available on line, just search and you will see its been properly maintained. The car comes equipped ready for winter on 4 nearly new Pirelli Scorpion all season tyres. The car is priced to sell (no offers otherwise i would have added to the asking price). so hear are the bad points, Norway's gravel roads and sub zero temperatures have resulted in the wheels needing refurbished and the auto deployable steps have seized (easy fix) . The rear hatch lowering mechanism (wire pully) needs repairing and finally, someone kindly scratched the door in B&Q car park (not bad) but noticeable, didnt own up, but again this is not an expensive repair and all bad points are reflected in the asking price. The car runs and drives as well at it did back in 2017 when I bought it. Economy is great, on the trip to Norway, it averaged 42 mpg!! Granted on the trip back towing a trailer with all my wifes shoes in it, that dropped to 28mpg. No part exchanges, no time wasters, no low ballers over the phone without seeing the car ( if you feel the need to do that, dont call) , price negotiable to the right buyer and in person.
