This car has an MOT until April 2026. It still runs and has been pretty reliable having owned it for around three years. However, for whoever buys it, there is work needed to keep the car running longer term. Highlighted below are the main things to be aware of, for transparency so you know what you are buying: 1) check engine and start/stop function lights. These are coming on intermittently, not pictured as they are not currently coming on. Diagnostic codes suggest it may be an issue with the multiair system / actuator. When started up cold, the engine judders and it is slow to accelerate. Once warm, the car seems to run fine with normal power. 2) previous coolant tank cracked, replaced now. As a consequence there is a fair amount of coolant residue in the engine bay. 3) small oil leak, exact location unknown. Mechanic advised simply to continue checking and maintaining oil levels. 4) rear brake discs and pads replaced. Front brakes and tyres are worn. 5) suspension top mount worn. Car makes some clunking noises with tight steering and manoeuvring. 6) alloy wheels are all quite scuffed and scratched.
