Description
Golf GTI for sale - has been my daily for the last 4 years / 45k miles and I've loved owning it.
Lovely spec black 3-door manual with sunroof, genuine VW RCD330 unit fitted with Android Auto / Apple CarPlay and reversing camera, Milltek turbo-back exhaust (sports cat, non-res back box), auto lights + wipers.
Has a detachable towbar fitted which I've used to tow a small sailing boat (weight approx. 150kg with trailer) - clicks off the car and a cover can be bought to hide it (VW part number: 1K6807397A9B9).
Michelin PS5's all round, fitted in Sep '23. 5.5mm tread on fronts, 6.0mm tread on rears.
Full service history from 2007, and lots of preventative maintenance carried out in my ownership - always serviced and worked on by specialists RnD Tuning.

Cam follower replaced at regular intervals to be safe, and headlining fully replaced in July '23.
Recorded Cat D in 2007 - I have the CarVertical report from when I purchased the car in 2021 which shows this, happy to share with any interested buyers. No damage recorded - I suspect stolen/recovered but have no proof of this.
Due to the Cat D I've focused on spending the money on the car mechanically to keep it in great condition and working reliably - as such a few cosmetic points that would benefit from improving if the new owner wishes. Slight corrosion to front edge of drivers door, all alloys in need of refurb, and the odd paint mark here and there.
Following latest MOT:
- Tyres sorted (slow puncture)
- Both front CV joints replaced
- Minor oil leak located (very minor, can share photo)
Test drives only with proof of fully comp insurance.
Has been a great fun daily and I'll be sad to see it go - only selling as I'm changing jobs and no longer need the car for commuting, so something less practical is on the cards.
