I have owned my GTV for 5 years. It is in lovely condition. Above average for year with no bodywork rust issues. It is painted in the rarer lightning blue and the paint is in great condition with no lacquer peel. The car has extensive service history and the cam belt and balancer shaft belt were both replaced earlier this year. I have also replaced the alternator, front and rear anti roll bar drop links, top rear ball joints, front outer drive shaft boots and offside front lower wishbone. New battery. Serviced regularly and have covered nearly 16,000 trouble free miles in 5 years. Only driven in dry weather and garage stored. The sump was replaced after hitting a raised manhole cover while driving back from a classic car show in September 2024. This resulted in cat N status when my insurance company wanted to undertake repairs with all new parts. I have the engineers report with valuation of vehicle of 4000 pounds. Insurance repair with new parts approached that amount. Consequently I kept car and sourced parts and commissioned a local garage to undertake repairs and new MOT.
