This van is in fantastic condition. It started life as an Environment Agency mobile laboratory, hence the diesel space heater and hand washing sink! It was well looked after by them (I still have the full history). Then it went to a guy in Wales who pampered it like crazy, fitting LED headlights (super bright!), hinge guards, noise proofing and rubber matting. He was pretty much crying when I bought it off him. Since then, I've also looked after it well; getting it undersealed annually by Silk Mill Garage who do a proper job steam cleaning it, drying it for a day at 40C, then sealing every nook and cranny. The net result is that the chassis is still in original condition with no welds or repairs. I also had the rear seats added so our kids could enjoy the fun too. Before I bought this I looked at a lot of Land Rovers and quickly realised that there's a lot of rubbish out there with corrosion, checker plate and stupid modifications. I therefore splashed the extra cash and bought a fully original un-messed with example that is in mint condition. I'm so glad I did so! Reason for sale now; it's just not getting enough use, we used to use it for travelling to BMX and MTB venues with our son, but he's now grown up and moved on. Other points: The mesh behind the seats is easily removable. Wheel lock and pedal lock included. Reg plate included. Spare set of keys. Will get this MOT'd next week, so there'll be 12 months on at that point.
