Reluctantly selling my Vauxhall Corsa 1.2! The Good News: This car has been extremely well maintained and in many ways is essentially like new. It's previous owner was a business and it got serviced regularly. Lots of motorway miles. The interior is in pristine condition - looks and feels brand new throughout. Prior to the current issue, it was driving beautifully and running smoothly. I've invested significantly in the car recently, including having a new timing chain fitted recently (full receipts available in photos). The work that's been done means much of the hard maintenance is already taken care of. The Situation: Unfortunately, the issue was misdiagnosed initially. I got a new timing chain fitted but the actual issue requires cylinder head work. Oil found on spark plug indicating worn valve seals or rings. Mechanic advised timing chain and cylinder head removal needed for repair. Priced accordingly for spares/repair. Given what I've already spent on repairs, it makes more financial sense for me to move to another vehicle.
